Photography is a world of emotion. It's powerful and impacting, and it makes a difference. Show a senior girl a picture of how beautiful she is, of how everyone else sees her, and what does that do to her confidence? Even after just a year, parents become nostalgic over pictures of their baby's six week old hands and feet. When I show couples their pictures for the first time after their wedding day I watch them inch closer to each other and cuddle in, because those pictures draw out powerful emotions.
I have a heart for people. Every memory that gives me warm fuzzy feelings when I look back on it has been tied to having the opportunity to make someone laugh or smile, to leave them some how more emotionally satisfied. That's why I love what I do -- because photography touches people.
